John Newman started his hairdressing career in 1976. John's father was a barber as was his father before him, starting a Hair Salon business in Rothwell in 1922. John is now the third generation of hairdressers in Rothwell and has built up an enviable reputation for service, quality and staff training.
Today John Newman Hairdressing aims to provide you with outstanding hairdressing services in a friendly and relaxing environment.

Our mission is to fulfil your hairdressing and styling requirements, whilst ensuring you understand the best ways of maintaining and styling your hair between visits.
John Newman Hairdressing offers a team of highly qualified stylists who specialise in cutting, colouring and creative styling. We offer a free consultation service; this can be advice on anything from products, colour, cut or a complete new look.
Our Staff attend regular training sessions to ensure their techniques are at the forefront of the latest fashion trends. Our reputation and service are something we are very proud of.
In 2004 we opened The Nail Studio on the top floor of the Salon and are able to offer a variety of Manicure, Pedicures, Gel Nails and Extensions.
In summer 2007 the Nail Studio became the Beauty Studio and in addition to the existing nail services we are now pleased to the able to offer Waxing, Eyelash and Eyebrow Tinting Services.
